At Redwood Reflections, therapy isn’t about fitting you into a label—it’s about understanding your story. Wherever you are right now, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

You might be here because…

  • Your mind won’t slow down and you’re constantly overthinking

  • You feel anxious, on edge, or overwhelmed by everyday life

  • You’re emotionally drained, unmotivated, or disconnected from yourself

  • You’re going through a major life change or feeling stuck

  • You struggle with relationships, boundaries, or feeling understood

  • You carry the weight of past experiences that still affect you today

  • You experience sudden waves of panic or intense fear

  • Your moods feel unpredictable or hard to manage

  • You feel numb, detached, or not quite like yourself

  • You’re trying to make sense of who you are or what you want

Therapy can help you make sense of these experiences, build tools that actually work for you, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Our Approach

There’s no one-size-fits-all in therapy. We draw from different approaches depending on what you need, what resonates with you, and what actually helps you move forward.

  • CBT helps you notice the patterns between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we work on quieting the inner critic, reducing overthinking, and building more balanced, supportive ways of thinking.

  • DBT is especially helpful if your emotions feel intense or hard to manage. You’ll learn practical tools to cope with stress, navigate relationships, and feel more grounded in overwhelming moments.

  • EMDR helps your brain process past experiences that may still feel “stuck.” Rather than retelling everything in detail, this approach allows your mind and body to heal from trauma in a more natural, less overwhelming way.

  • For children, play is their language. Play therapy allows kids to express feelings, process experiences, and build confidence in a way that feels safe and natural to them.

  • This is a space to explore your story, patterns, and relationships at a deeper level. Through conversation, reflection, and curiosity, we work to understand what’s underneath what you’re feeling—and create meaningful change.

  • A more forward-looking approach that helps you identify what’s working, build on your strengths, and create practical steps toward change.
